FLOWER COLOR: Dark red, slightly silvery. The buds are decorative darkred, the top is black under special light-conditions. This circumstance owes its name. The bloom consists approximately out of 130 petals. FLOWERING SEASON: February until April (May), outdoors accordingly later.  FLOWER FORM:  Formal double.
SIZE OF BLOOMS:
 Ø 8 - 9 cm. WINTER HARDINESS: Up to -21° C.  STATURE: Compact, bushy and upright growth. CHARACTERISTIC: The flowers vary from rose form to formal double, beautiful imbricated, each of the 130 dark red petals has a fine picotee edge with a darker shade, which really does look black in some light-condtitions. The late blossom (outdoors never before march) gives her the protection against late frost. The leaves are dark green. For the garden and a pretty pot very well suitably.
